Cookie policy

Which cookies our website and the VoiceLogic customer portal use, and how to choose which ones you accept.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Our website currently uses only strictly necessary cookies: there are no statistics or marketing cookies. The VoiceLogic customer portal also uses only strictly necessary cookies, for signing in and security. This policy explains each one, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things, such as that you are signed in or which cookie choices you made. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.

Some cookies are strictly necessary: the site cannot work properly without them, so they do not need your consent. All other cookies, such as statistics or marketing cookies, are used only if you agree.

Cookies on this website

Our website, voicelogic.co.uk, runs on WordPress and uses the Complianz cookie consent plugin to ask for and remember your cookie choices. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and it has no embedded videos or maps that set cookies. If we add any statistics or marketing cookies in future, they will run only after you consent through our cookie banner.

WordPress sets its own login cookies (names beginning wordpress_ or wp-) only for our staff who sign in to manage the website. They are not set for visitors.

The VoiceLogic chat window sets no cookies; what it stores is listed below.

When you first visit, a cookie banner from the Complianz plugin asks for your choices about non-essential cookies. Until you choose, and if you decline, we use only strictly necessary cookies. Declining does not stop you using the website.

Cookies in the VoiceLogic customer portal

The VoiceLogic customer portal uses only strictly necessary cookies, to keep you signed in and to protect your account. It does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Because these cookies are needed for the portal to work, it does not ask for consent. The portal loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a portal page opens; this sets no cookies.

vl_two_stepHolds a two-step sign-in while you enter the code from your authenticator app5 minutesStrictly necessary

How to change your mind

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage consent” tab, which is shown at the side or foot of every page of our website. If you withdraw consent, we stop setting non-essential cookies; you can delete any already set in your browser, as described below.

How to control cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you see, delete and block cookies, usually in their privacy or security settings. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari each explain how in their help pages.

If you block all cookies, some websites will not work properly. In particular, you will not be able to sign in to the VoiceLogic customer portal, because it needs its strictly necessary cookies.
